Its was nationalism because the president (along with many people), thought it was the right thing for the country, to remove the indians, also, they put a bright side to it, giving them their own state (aside from the small pox)
Thank you, Andrew Jackson, for doing the right thing for our nation. I see you're trying to make this world a better place without harming anybody. I can't see why people are against it, because you are giving the natives their own country. What's to complain about? They get their own contry, and can be closer together.
